Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Read bio

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, and perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C). I have worked in private practice in Washington, DC, NYC, and now back where I grew up, Boston. I earned my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University, and did my clinical internship training at the University of Miami Counseling Center. I completed my post-doctoral training as an associate at Georgetown University's Counseling and Psychological Services, where I continued as a staff psychologist the following year. After having two “pandemic babies” I became passionate about bridging the gap between OBGYN visits and other therapeutic services that support mothers through pregnancy and postpartum. I am also a Level 3 Gottman Trained couples therapist.

I work with a range of psychological and emotional issues including mood disorders and depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, and adjustment concerns. I practice in both long and short-term models of therapy, with adults, young adults, couples, and families. I emphasize a psychodynamic approach to therapy, and work integratively, using both behavioral and insight-oriented techniques.

Therapist

Read bio

I am an LGBTQ+ affirming, equity-focused therapist who will partner with you to unpack the narratives within your life, build agency, and further develop your sense of self. After being an educator within a K-8 school for the last 7 years, I have transitioned to working with individual clients across the lifespan, primarily teens and young adults who are navigating identity, anxiety, stress, relationships, life transitions, and the pressure to have everything figured out.

Within our work together, we will make space for your internal experiences, as well as the pressures and stories being put on you by systems, relationships, and expectations. We may explore things you've learned about yourself, challenge patterns that no longer serve you, and build practical strategies to navigate what comes next.

Starting or restarting therapy is a big investment, especially with your time and energy. In the therapy room (in person or virtually), I use a conversational approach to dive into topics that are affecting you each week as well as connect to previous sessions and overall themes. If what you have read resonates with you, reach out to schedule a consultation!
